Relativity is a special blend, released under the Manhattan Project label and roasted by none other than Truth Coffee Roasting. It is the sister blend to the already popular WMD blend which was designed for bean to cup machines. This blend is designed for traditional espresso, whether that be high volume commercial, small scale domestic, or anything in between.
When creating the Relativity Barista Blend, our friends at Truth had a specific aim in mind. They wanted to create a quality affordable espresso blend which was not vulnerable to under-extraction, but also wasn't overdeveloped. That's actually a fairly rare combination to find. Too many espresso blends out there are burnt to a crisp and just don't taste very good. Others may have great potential, but in the hands of some baristas wind up tasting sour.
Relativity is Truth's answer to all these challenges. Available in 2kg bags this is a good quality, well-balanced espresso blend that any coffee drinker can enjoy, that should be fairly forgiving to any competent barista. It's the perfect choice for a commercial operation, but some may just choose to enjoy it at home as well!
In the cup, the Relativity blend is everything you would want from a good espresso. It's chocolatey up front, with present but not overpowering acidity, and it has a lovely nutty finish.
You know the type. They'll say something along the lines of "I really miss my old Chevy Spark. This Audi SUV is so much harder to park."
Rest assured they don't miss that Chevy AT ALL. They just want you to know that they spent truckloads of cash on the latest Audi, but they want to come across as really casual because somehow that makes them cooler. Or something.
You'd think the complete lack of any complimentary responses would put an end to this type of self-appreciation, but if anything it's happening more and more.
We'd love to come up with an effective solution to it (honestly, it's what the world needs) but we're waaay too busy running a successful eCommerce company to actually invest the time.
Did you know we're also getting our PhDs on the side? No big deal.
