The legendary sailor Knut Hansen is the face of the gin – an honest guy, who was not held up by anyone or anything, who took the freedom to see the places he always wanted to visit and who experienced countless adventures on his journey. To us producing a regional gin means using regional botanicals. Next to the obligatory juniper, we use local apples, and cucumber, as well as basil. All this distilled locally in Cape Town at Hope Distillery.

- Nose / Aroma / Smell: Juniper aromas with floral hints and a touch of lavender, followed by the freshness from the apple
- Flavour / Taste / Palate: Very classic Gin on the palate with flavours of juniper, apple, basil and cucumber. A burst of citrus flavours seals the deal.
