Originally a sake producer, White Oak was the first distillery in Japan to obtain a whisky licence in 1919, however, have only been making whisky in more recent years. Matured in three different types of casks: Spanish sherry oak, American oak and ex-bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.
