The Great King Street range by Compass Box are high-quality blended whiskies containing 55% - 65% malt whisky. The Artist's Blend is their non-peated variant aged in a combination of barrels: first-fill American oak barrel, first-fill bourbon hogshead, sherry butt and custom toasted French oak hybrid barrel.
Product Features
- Highly approachable whiskies which are aimed at not just whisky connoisseurs, but at non-whisky drinkers and cocktail drinkers as well.
- Nose: Sweet and creamy, with lots of cereal notes, some vanilla, dried fruits, citrus and apple crumble.
- Palate: A gentle, creamy whisky, which develops a great deal of richness. Notes of Christmas spices, lemon, buttery apple crumble, Bakewell tart, rose petals and raisins.
- Finish: Rich and sweet, with a long finish which tails off with notes of quince jelly, shortbread and spices.
