On opening his Johns Lane Distillery in 1791, James Power, our founding father found his calling. Over 200 years later his legacy lives on, in a triple distilled Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, using the heart of the distillate. His visionary decision to devote his future to distilling and the pioneering spirit of the generations that followed him were to rock the whiskey world.

Product Features

• The second single pot still expression to join the Powers range. Predominately matured in bourbon barrels (mostly refill with a few first fill casks) along with the small inclusion of some Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. 
• Although there is no age statement, this is typically drawn from whiskeys aged around 7-9 years. Bottled at 46%.
• Nose: Fresh and vibrant with aromas of green and red fruits plus some hints of green herbs, boiled sweets and toast. 
• Palate: Sweet and vibrantly fruity. Lots of spicy, toasty oak and some tannic bitterness. Bittersweet chocolate, green herbs and coffee.
• Finish: A very pleasant bite and spiciness.
