About
Care Croft is a small mother and daughter team. When COVID-19 first made it's appearance in SA, we couldn't get our hands on any cloth face masks. We turned to our trusty sewing machine at home and after a series of attempts, refined a design that we loved. We found there was a demand for these masks in our community, and so we embarked on this journey to help curb the spread.
Since we've started we've grown enough to be able to spread the workload to a small team of seamstresses. In the incredible privileged position to create jobs and start paying wages to those that need it the most. We now support a small team of seamstresses and their families.
Our masks are made in Cape Town with great care and attention to detail. Available in a few sizes (because not all heads are created equal).

- Double fabric layer construction
- Adjustable, easy to fit elastic-over-the-ear
- Inner pocket, to insert your own filter
- Inside: soft, 100% lightweight cotton
- Outside: heavier, tightly woven poly-cotton material
- Women : Small: ladies with a more narrow/slim to average face (if you usually fall into small to midsize sizing) *12.5cm +- height (chin to nose bridge)
- Medium: average to broader face for ladies (can also fit men with a smaller face) *13cm +- height (chin to nose bridge)
- Men: Large: fits the majority of men (safe bet) *15cm +- height (chin to nose bridge)
- **The over-the-ear elastics are 100% adjustable if the mask is too loose or tight.
- Simply slip the knot out of the side seams: un-tie and re-tie to fit to your face when using for the first time.

You know the type. They'll say something along the lines of "I really miss my old Chevy Spark. This Audi SUV is so much harder to park."
Rest assured they don't miss that Chevy AT ALL. They just want you to know that they spent truckloads of cash on the latest Audi, but they want to come across as really casual because somehow that makes them cooler. Or something.
You'd think the complete lack of any complimentary responses would put an end to this type of self-appreciation, but if anything it's happening more and more.
We'd love to come up with an effective solution to it (honestly, it's what the world needs) but we're waaay too busy running a successful eCommerce company to actually invest the time.
