- Odour Free – Unlike synthetic fibre, the natural breathability and smooth fibres prevent the build-up of bacteria and keep your feet feeling fresh.
- Moisture management: Due to the capillary nature of the fibre, mohair has natural wick ability. Mohair socks absorb moisture quickly and wick perspiration away from the foot, keeping it dry, comfortable and fresh.
- Thermally balanced: Mohair fibre acts as a natural insulator, keeping your foot cool and comfortable in hot temperatures, and warm and snug in cold conditions.
- Shrink free and durable: Mohair has little tendency to shrink during washing which is largely attributable to its smooth and unpronounced scale structure. Mohair is claimed to be the world’s most durable animal fibre because it is pliable rather than solid and can be bent and twisted without damage.
- Maintains its shape: Mohair is extremely elastic and can be stretched to 30% of its normal length and still spring back into shape. Because of this resilience, these socks resists wrinkling, stretching out of shape and sagging during wear. Blister resistant: The smooth cuticle structure of the mohair fibre used in mohair socks results in a smooth surface, reducing chafing and blisters.
