Bergsig Estate is situated in one of South Africa’s most picturesque wine valleys: the Breedekloof Wine Valley. Situated at the foot of two big mountain ranges - the Drakenstein and the Hex River Mountains - our vines are fed by water accumulated from mountain streams which can run throughout summer, as these mountains are often snow-capped in winter, storing a life source until the sun melts it into much-needed water for our grapes.

- This Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant wine with a deep garnet colour.
- Traditional cigar box and blackcurrant flavours are complemented by complex layers of rich dark- spice smokiness that developed during months of maturation in new French Oaks Barrels.
- The Bergsig Reserve Cabernet is a selection of our finest barrels. The juice was pumped over the skins during fermentation to extract maximum colour and flavour. The wine developed during ± 28 months maturation in new French Oak Barrels
