Set at the entrance to the picturesque Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Whalehaven is the third oldest wine producer in this revered coastal area. The winery is known for its collectable, hand-crafted wines including its exceptional Merlot, Cabernet Franc as well as terroir-specific, limited releases of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This boutique winery was named after the protective bay that is the sight of whales in the cool Cape winter months and is the birthplace of wines of exceptional quality.
