Hoka One OneWomen's SpeedGoat 2 Black Azalea Running Shoes

About

HOKA ONE ONE’s roots are in the mountains, designing shoes that allowed athletes to run faster, safer, and farther downhill. The result: a range of trail and road running shoes that puts performance and comfort first. With HOKA, your feet feel light gliding above the earth. Don’t run, fly.

While the minimalist trend was in full frenzy, HOKA was winning mountain trail races and ultra marathons in their crazy-looking shoes. The smirks at midsoles twice the thickness of other running shoes soon turned to "ahas", as runners tried HOKA ONE ONE and felt the difference. Light and surefooted during a race, with more cushioning at the end, HOKA makes runners feel like they’re gliding over the ground.

Inspired by Karl Meltzer, who holds the record for most 100-mile trail race wins, and epitomizes the “go everywhere, run everything” attitude, this shoe is designed to attack all breeds of technical trail. The wide midsole creates a stable platform for the foot and offers a wide toe box with reinforced areas where your feet need them. The outsole features deep, aggressive Vibram® lugs which hold up to all kinds of rugged terrain, while the more forgiving upper offers comfort up top. The Speedgoat 2 means business. This is one fast, tough trail running shoe.

Dreams are weird

They're like your brain's way of saying: you know what the world really needs? Nonsensical story lines that nobody questions and flying cars.

And even though we know they're absolutely bonkers and possess zero relevance whatsoever, we waste no time telling people all about them.

Sad fact: nobody wants to hear it. There is only one dream worth talking about, and that's Martin Luther King Jr's.

Anyhoo, last night we had a dream where we featured half off tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at the Department of Home Affairs. They weren't even performing. They just worked there. Crazy, huh?
