Renosterwacht wines are made in limited quantities from vineyards in the “Renosterveld” – an Ecoregion in the Cape biome, home to the unique Cape heather – “fynbos”, dull grey/green in colour named after the shade of a rhino’s hide. Renosterwacht – loosely translated as “Rhino Guard” in Afrikaans, is a tribute to the many rhinos cruelly poached in Southern Africa. A portion of the sales of this wine is dedicated to the protection of the rhino species. Our charity of choice is “Saving the survivors”
