Released on March 1st, 2019, the ExWay X1 Pro was introduced as the big brother to the original ExWay X1, and ups the ante overall with a more daily commuter-friendly battery capacity and a host of other improvements. While electric skateboards are often brushed off as simple toys for students and avid skaters, you shouldn’t dismiss them so quickly. Packed with new features while still maintaining an ultra-slim, lightweight design, this fast and fun electric skateboard makes for a great commuter vehicle and is a safer alternative to a motorbike.

The ExWay X1 Pro has a significantly increased battery capacity and now has a 25km range (yip, it's wild). Despite this increase in range and power, we were still able to keep the streamline shape and lightweight deck that ExWay is known and loved for. Not only have we increased our battery capacity, but we have also adopted an all-new EBS regenerative braking system allowing you to get 56% more range out of the Exway X1 Pro. What did we have to sacrifice to get this added range? Only about a KG in weight and 1.5mm in deck thickness and with that the ExWay X1 Pro tipped the scale at 6 KG's and remained one of the lightest electric boards out there (cough cough, Boosted).

• Safety First: The Exway battery management system and charger are highly sophisticated and is designed in line with strict ANSI-UL2271 Safety standards. Some of the built-in protections include overcharge, over-voltage, temperature protection. The X1 Pro intelligently adjusts power output according to riding conditions. Automatic system startup checks, voltage output, temperature, and dis-charge warnings are communicated to the rider through the remote via vibration and OLED readouts. At low battery levels, the power output will be automatically adjusted. When the voltage is too high or low, you will be alerted through the OLED remote screen to ensure safe riding. The different speed settings/tiers/rider profiles also ensure that parents can cap their kids' speed (if they're paranoid or protective).
• Performance Speed Enhancement: Select Turbo mode in the app and enjoy blistering speeds without having to sacrifice torque or our intuitive acceleration and braking - with Turbo mode activated enjoy speeds up to 45 KPH. We took the ExWay X1 Pro to the next level by adding Turbo mode to the FOC controller. Not for the faint of heart, select Turbo mode in the app, and enjoy blistering speeds but hang on tight, because the ExWay X1 Pro is a speed demon.
• Fully Upgraded Dual HUB Motors:The dual hub motors have been pushed even further on the X1 Pro. The fully enclosed drive sits on upgraded water-resistant bearings. The most water-resistant electric skateboard on the market just stepped it up again! Also, we've increased our power output to 1200 watts per motor so you can now enjoy higher torque, 30% hill grade, and even greater power efficiency. With the push friendly, anti-drag motor design you can freely kick your X1 Pro just like you can your old-school longboard/skateboard.
• Professional Seismic Trucks: Why mess with a good thing? Seismic trucks came standard on the X1, and we never heard a single complaint about them. Stick with what the people love, stick with Seismic. With its unique 90a prism design, the days of sacrificing stability for turning are a thing of the past. We are control freaks. We have found the absolute optimal amount of concave in our decks. This slight adjustment in the amount of concave makes the X1 Pro fit like a glove.
• Shock-Absorbing Grip Tape: Shock-absorbing grip tape now comes standard on the Pro. More water-resistant and an even smoother ride, you are sure to love the ride. Absorbs unwanted vibrations while still keeping the ultra-slim profile and the traditional downhill feel of the X1.
• Water Resistant Bearing: The HYF bearings are a welcome new addition to the Exway X1 Pro. Now skip the speed cream and enjoy a more robust, reliable bearing that will last heaps longer than your standard skate bearings.
• Line-X Super Protective Coating: What's the best skateboard coating in the market? We made the Pro as tough and clean as X1 with the all Line-X coating to keep the belly of the deck resistant to road dirt and wear.
• New Rubber Structure Design: Developed in house, the newly redesigned PU core structure offers better power transfer which means better response and acceleration from the hub motor. This has been achieved through PU covers which are much more durable and deform less under pressure.
• Bigger 85mm Wheels: The Pro now comes stock with 85mm wheels. Rigorous testing has proven this to be the optimal wheel size for stability when riding at speed as well as greater longevity. i.e. less frequent replacement of PU covers.
• Professional Deck Design: After feedback from our pro riders and tons of times' testings, the concave has been adjusted to a depth of 10mm for better "foot sense "and" locked-in" feel. The new 85mm stock Pro wheels have an all-new gel core giving you more control. Our new urethane formula provides better rider feedback and better wear. With bigger stock wheels you will notice immediate performance enhancement and elevated top speed.
• R1 Upgraded Intelligent Remote Control: The remote has been changed to a better, form-fitting, ergonomic design with a better skin coating for that grip that won't quit. The rubber coating now also has a new formula, effectively reducing the "remote peel". The thumbwheel has been upgraded to get even more feedback and make the ride smoother than before. The Holzer type rolling throttle design allows for precise throttle control combined with our traditional 4 riding modes making the X1 Pro ridable for people of all skill levels. The R1 remote's OLED display shows your real-time speed and battery levels, and if your X1 Pro detects unusual conditions, your remote will let you know by vibrating and displaying the error on the display.
