You don't really need these.
You have six plates already. More or less. Sure, they're a little on the too small and too old side, but they hold food, right?
Yes, the one plate has a dark red stain in the centre that just WON'T wash out. But that was an unfortunate beetroot-related incident and nothing more sinister. And once you know that, it adds character more than anything else.
Another of the plates is chipped on the rim, granted. So chipped in fact that putting your hand around that part would almost certainly result in a fairly nasty cut. Chicks dig scars, though.
So no, you don't really need these.
Unless of course you want your house-guests to come back again. Your sparkling conversation skills will only get you so far.
