Situated in the Franschhoek valley, with river frontage, and with easy access to the main road, the guest house is the perfect location for a Cape Winelands getaway.
The close proximity to Franschhoek celebrated as South Africa’s food and wine capital make for wonderful weekends of restaurants, wine tastings and exploration. Nearby Stellenbosch and Paarl have more incredible restaurants and wine farms to discover, as well as interesting historical sights.
The farm and guest house is the realisation of a dream for the owners, Shirley Guy-Kilian, Joe Kilian and Brian Howard.
Shirley Guy is a household name in South Africa and after 35 years of teaching people to cook, and writing food-related books has retired from her hectic Johannesburg life to the Franschhoek Valley. She is renowned for her culinary and entertaining skills. Guests can enjoy Shirley’s delicious, memorable breakfasts.

Suite details
All suites have luxurious finishes and have closed log fires (wood is supplied), DSTV, Electric blankets, Nespresso Coffee machines. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms and heated towel rails add to the luxury. The room comes with a decanter of complimentary port
