Three centuries later and La Couronne still pays homage to the French Huguenot Settlers with the great winemaking traditions that the cellar still proudly upholds. - Viognier Limited Release possesses the potential to develop full-bodied wines with a lush, soft character.
- The wine should be served colder than room temperature so that it can contribute to the full, exquisite flavours of the wine.
- Viognier is a vibrant, distinct wine with marmalade, honey and wholesome peaches as well as orange blossom flavours, integrated with subtle toasty French oak aroma.
- The wine has a creamy mouthfeel with nutmeg and apricot flavours lingering on the aftertaste.
- Viognier works in wine and food pairings with a wide variety of seafood and shellfish, roasted or grilled chicken, veal, port, spicy flavours and Asian cuisine.
- The wine was barrel fermented in new French oak barrels for 11 months.
