About

My winemaking philosophy is simple; source grapes from exceptional vineyards, pick them at the correct time and help guide them through the natural process of winemaking to produce expressive, individual wines of the highest quality, wines that I enjoy to drink. These wines are the Introduction to our story and our wines. Vinified from grapes sourced from vineyards with the intention of producing wines which are fruit forward and fresh, yet maintaining complexity and a sense of place. These wines are made with minimal intervention and without the use of new wood to retain the intrinsic varietal characters and terroir.

Product Features
  • This wine is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cinsault, 14% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet franc from specially selected vineyard sites around the Stellenbosch region.
  • This wine has a stunning depth of colour with an intense garnet hue.
  • The aromas emanating from the glass are reminiscent of red and black bramble fruit with hints of Karoo bush and cedar.
  • The palate mirrors the aromas on the nose with a stunning sweet red fruit core and a dry textured herbal character leading to a clarity in the mouth on the finish.
  • This wine will drink at its best between 3 and 6 years from harvest.

Dreams are weird

They're like your brain's way of saying: you know what the world really needs? Nonsensical story lines that nobody questions and flying cars.

And even though we know they're absolutely bonkers and possess zero relevance whatsoever, we waste no time telling people all about them.

Sad fact: nobody wants to hear it. There is only one dream worth talking about, and that's Martin Luther King Jr's.

Anyhoo, last night we had a dream where we featured half off tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at the Department of Home Affairs. They weren't even performing. They just worked there. Crazy, huh?
