About

Rudi Schultz comes from a family of top-class winemakers, three of five brothers, also being avid surfers. Hailing from Somerset West, the three brothers grew up surfing the local breaks after school most days. Rudi's inspiration for his latest range of unique wines comes from his great passion for surfing, his love of the ocean and the world-renowned surf breaks.

  • Grapes were picked early morning from two parcels, a 43-year-old vineyard in Somerset West as well as a 58-year-old vineyard in Paar, whole bunch pressed and the juice was allowed to settle overnight. 
  • Barrel fermentation completed in old Burgundy barrels & aged on primary lees for 9 months.
  • Grapes were picked early morning from thirty-year-old vines, the whole bunch pressed and the juice was allowed to settle overnight.

Dreams are weird

And even though we know they're absolutely bonkers and possess zero relevance whatsoever, we waste no time telling people all about them.

Anyhoo, last night we had a dream where we featured half off tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at the Department of Home Affairs. They weren't even performing. They just worked there. Crazy, huh?
